Georgia State Museum

The Georgia State Museum is housed on the fourth floor in the State Capitol building under the administration of the Office of Secretary of State. The Museum seeks to preserve and interpret the history of the Georgia State Capitol building itself, and the events that have taken place within its walls. The Museum collects, maintains, and exhibits significant artifacts, including historic flags and works of art, within the State Capitol. It is is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
